Arcanum Core Values

Listed below are the five core values that are the basis of Arcanum's code of conduct.

• Integrity; Arcanum will carry out its activities adequately and carefully, taking into account the valid laws and regulations, acting in accordance with the text and in the spirit of the law. Arcanum will in its day to day operations not let itself be influenced by improper matters, will take responsibility for its own actions and is accountable for these actions. 
• Independence;  Arcanum will carry out its activities independently and it will not let itself be improperly influenced by others. Furthermore it will carry out its activities in such a way that no mixture with improper or own interests occurs.
• Reliability; Arcanum will endeavour to honour the agreements made whilst carrying out its activities and in the case this is not possible, will communicate openly about this. Knowledge and information that is available to Arcanum will be used for the purpose it was procured for.
• Sustainability; Arcanum strives to develop sustainable co-operations in which acting socially responsible is key.
• Professionalism; Arcanum will, whilst carrying out its activities, make high demands to others and to the execution of the activities. Quality and client-orientation are key in this aspect. 
 

These five core values are not to been seen as separate values, but draw strength from their reciprocal cohesion. In the case of colliding core values, a careful consideration of the best course of action must be made.
